Jonathan Cash, Luke Baldwin Score Top-Five Runs at Orange County Speedway

For the second time in 2024, both Sadler-Stanley Racing drivers finished in the top-five on Saturday evening, April 6.

In the fifth SMART Modified Tour race of the season at Orange County Speedway, Jonathan Cash brought home his No. 16VA in third-place, while Luke Baldwin crossed the line fifth driving the No. 7VA.

Cash and Baldwin both showed speed in all sessions throughout the day, starting with practice. Cash was sixth-fastest in practice rounds, while Luke Baldwin was ninth on the speed charts. In Pace-O-Matic qualifying, Cash posted the second fastest time, and Luke the fourth fastest time. The qualifying runs set the team up well for 99 laps in chase of the big prize.

In the feature, both Cash and Baldwin continued to show speed. After running inside the top-10 for the first half, Luke had some contact and pitted during a caution flag with 51 laps to go for the team to work on the car. After the restart, he was able to charge from 15th backup to finish inside the top-five. Cash was able to run consistently around the top-five all night and crossed the line third at the finish.

Overall, the entire PSR Products team worked hard at Orange County to bring home two strong finishes. 

The Sadler-Stanley Racing team will be back on track for the sixth SMART Modified Tour race of the season at Hickory Motor Speedway next Saturday, April 13. The team will bring Cash, Baldwin and NASCAR Hall of Fame member Bobby Labonte to the track for battle.
