Luke Baldwin Seals Second Straight SMART Modified Tour Title with North Wilkesboro Victory

For the second straight year, Luke Baldwin was crowned the SMART Modified Tour champion in 2025.

Baldwin sealed the championship season behind the wheel of the Sadler-Stanley Racing No. 7VA with his fourth victory of the season at North Wilkesboro Speedway in the season-finale. Baldwin rocketed to the top spot following a late pit stop and drove away from the competition to grab the race win.

Baldwin became back-to-back SMART Modified Tour champion driving the Pace-O-Matic machine. The rising star gave appreciation to his entire team, led by Senator Bill Stanley, former NASCAR driver Hermie Sadler, and the entire PSR Products group that prepare and work on the car on race day.

“It feels good to finally ride the elevator at North Wilkesboro and cap off the season with a win,” Luke said. “I can’t say enough about my guys.. The car was on a rail. We weren’t that great to unload, but the team busted their tails all weekend and got it where it needed to be. This one is special. This season wasn’t as dominant as I hoped it would be… it got frustrating at times… but my guys stuck behind me and never gave up. My parents have done so much for me, and I can’t say enough about them, Pace-O-Matic, Sadler-Stanley Racing, Mohawk Northeast and everyone involved.”

Baldwin also helped seal Rick Ware Racing the CARS Tour owners championship earlier in the day with a strong second-place finish.

Sadler-Stanley Racing driver Jonathan Cash was unfortunately collected in a wreck, but still finished inside the top-10 in the SMART Modified Tour season.
